CreWorthy

Privacy Policy

Your privacy, in plain terms.

Last updated: 22 July 2026

CreWorthy helps households find verified domestic workers, and helps workers find honest, contracted work. To do that, we handle personal information — yours and theirs — with care. This page explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over it.

CreWorthy is a brand operated by Mondovia Private Limited, a company incorporated in India[CIN to be inserted upon incorporation], with its registered office at 1501, Tower 5, The Close North, Nirvana Country, Sector 50, Gurugram, Haryana 122018. In this policy, "CreWorthy", "we", "us" and "our" mean Mondovia Private Limited.

This policy is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the rules made under it. Under that law, you are a "Data Principal" and we are a "Data Fiduciary" — meaning we decide how and why your personal data is processed, and we are accountable to you for it.

01Who this policy covers

This policy applies to two groups of people:

Some sections apply to both; where a section applies to only one group, we say so.

02What we collect

We collect only what we need to verify people, match them well, and support a placement. We do not sell your data, and we do not collect it to build advertising profiles.

From households

WhatWhy
Name and phone numberTo create your account, verify it by OTP, and contact you about your enquiry
Home locality / area (cluster)To match you with workers who can serve your location
Your requirement — role, hours, live-in or live-out, scope of work, salary offered, preferred startTo find suitable, verified candidates

From workers

WhatWhy
Name, phone number and photographIdentity, account creation, and to present a verified profile to households
Locality (cluster), category of work, experience and expected salaryTo match you to suitable households
Verification information — identity documents, references, work history, and police verification where applicableTo confirm you are who you say you are, which is the core of the trust we offer households

Some of the information workers provide (such as identity documents) may be more sensitive than ordinary contact details. We treat it with correspondingly greater care, restrict who can see it, and use it only for verification and matching.

Automatically

When you use our website or app, we may collect basic technical information — such as device type, browser, and general usage — to keep the service secure and working. We keep this to the minimum needed.

03The legal basis: your consent

Under the DPDP Act, we process your personal data primarily on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit an enquiry, create an account, or complete onboarding. Before you provide your data, we tell you what we are collecting and why, through this notice.

In some cases we may process data for "legitimate uses" permitted by the Act — for example, to respond to something you have asked us to do. Where the law requires your explicit consent, we will ask for it clearly and separately.

You can withdraw your consent at any time (see "Your rights" below). Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already, lawfully, took place — but it means we will stop the processing that depended on it, which may mean we can no longer provide the service.

04How we use your data

05Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is necessary to provide the service:

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers.

06How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. When a purpose is complete and there is no legal reason to retain the data — for example, if you withdraw consent and there is no ongoing placement or statutory obligation — we will delete or anonymise it.

07How we protect it

We take reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data, including access controls that limit who on our team can see sensitive information, secure hosting, and separation of the most sensitive verification data from ordinary use. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and to respond quickly if something goes wrong. If a personal data breach occurs, we will act in line with our obligations under the DPDP Act, including notifying the Data Protection Board and affected individuals where required.

08Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

09Children

CreWorthy is intended for adults. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18, and where the law requires it, we will obtain verifiable parental consent before processing a child's data. If you believe a child's data has been provided to us, please contact us and we will address it.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service, or the law, changes. When we make a material change, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Please check back from time to time.

11Contact and grievances

If you have a question, a request about your data, or a grievance about how we handle it, please contact:
